Description: To salute the soldiers and commemorate the sacrifice of forgotten martyrs, our school celebrated the 70th Independence Day in a very innovative/novel manner. To mark the celebration of Independence Day, a colourful extravaganza was put up by the Sacred Heart Convent Students on 12th August, 2016. Students attired in tricolours paid respect and tribute to the nation by displaying their talents in the form of traditional dance, poetry and enactments. The celebration also added some meaning with the inspiring and thought proving speech by Principal Sister Jesina S.D. urged the students to seriously follow and implement the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” in their daily life. The celebration ended with National Anthem.
